Day 4 in Hungary we were going to visit one of the biggest tourist towns aside from Budapast. We got to the train station and found that the tracks were being worked on and there would be no trains for the next three months to this town (I can't remember the name). So we found out there was a boat but we had just missed by maybe 30min. So needless to say we were never able to visit that town. With our plans for the day out the window we headed to the mall to do some window shopping. Once done there we went to an island in the middle of the Danube river called Maragaret Island. Chris compared it to the Central Park of Budapest. He was right, it was massive and there was so much going on. After that I still wanted to go to another town, so we pulled up an app on Hungary and found a town called Szentendre that was supposed to be pretty cool and wasn't too far from Budapest. So we found the train to take us there and pulled into just a regular town. We were pretty dissapointed but decided to walk around anyways. Once we left the modern part we found the most picturesque little town. We found an old statue dating back to the 1300's so everything was incredibly old and amazing. We then headed back to Budapest and ate at McDonalds I think.

Our lifesaver for the week we were there. This little ticket cost about $25 dollars but we could ride any subway, tram, or bus within the city. It saved us a lot of money as we took public transportation everywhere.
